SIP / 2821

Unanswered Question
May 20th, 2009

I have set up an complete test environnement for SIP, and I wan't to try to implement it.

But, I have looked around here, and google some times (perhaps with the wrong keywords), and I haven't found a documentation on how to proceed.

Is some one there who know where I can find this kind of docs ?

I have this problem too.

What's the environment? CUBE with CUCM, SIP trunk to CME, SIP CME, etc?

Example for CUCM / CUBE:

SIP trunk with CME:

voice service voip

registrar server

voice register global

mode cme

source-address port 5060

max-dn X

max-pool X

voice register dn 1

number 1000

voice register pool 1

number 1 dn 1

username X password X

I just want to use SIP client on PC with the router.

That's why I haven't found something because we have to specifid an MAC address for that...

I'm reading your 2 links now, and return with my question later !

That would be SIP CME then. Technically 3rd party SIP phones aren't suppported with CME but you should be able to get them to register. I haven't played with any of the PC ones, so I don't know whether you can specify a MAC or not on them. You may need to change the command to 'id ip' or something like that.
