To troubleshoot UC 500 localization issues:
â¢Verify that all of the localization files have the current, correct version and have been downloaded and copied to the appropriate directories.
â¢If file upload during localization is unsuccessful, verify the following:
-The PC running CCA has single network connection into UC 500. If the PC running CCA has dual network connectivity (for example, a dual NIC with a wired and wireless connection), make sure only the network connection to the UC 500 is enabled.
-The PC running CCA does not have an external TFTP or FTP server running.
-The PC running CCA does not have a software firewall that blocks incoming TFTP or FTP requests from the UC 500.
â¢If file upload still fails after these steps, connect the PC running CCA directly connected to one of the UC 500 POE ports, or to a switch with a direct connection to the UC 500 and try the localization steps again.
With a direct connection, the CCA PC default gateway address should be the same as the UC 500 VLAN 1 IP address. The factory default IP address for UC 500 VLAN 1 is 192.168.10.1.
To verify the default gateway for your PC in Windows XP, right click the network icon on your Windows task bar and select Status.
