Normally when you enabled debug and tied it to an ACL to limit or select specific traffic everything worked well until you wanted to update the ACL. You would delete the ACL, which allow no filtering to take place (debug is still running). If you performed this on a production box, you might be updating your resume soon after.
Now, Cisco has corrected this issue.
If you enable debug and tie the debug output to an ACL, when removing the ACL, Cisco automatically turns debug off.
My question is this: does this feature work for other platforms (besides the 6509 12.2-SXI code) also?
