Could any one tell the maximum# of routes in the routing table on 6500 with sup WS-X6K-SUP1A-2GE.

Hi Andrew,
Thats means it will only support 128000 routes in the routing table irrespective of they are static ,or dynamic (EIGRP,BGP,OSPF )

That is correct - so really this device should not be used as an interfacing BGP router, and recevie the whole internet routing table!
But for an internal device, this should be fine.
