Problem with isdn overlap-receiving

Hi,

i'm experiencing confusing problems with our isdn bri connection in italy. the main number ends with '60'. our did range is '600' until '619'. But on incoming calls, the called party ends always with '60'. And the confusing thing is, the gateway receives the missing digit(s) after the ISDN 'disconnect' message (sending-complete)

Hi,

i resolved the problem:

i configured 'isdn overlap-receiving' instead of 'isdn overlap-receiving t302' on the interface.

but what is the difference between these both commands?

Max,

Hopefully this doc will help explain but the T302 is the interdigit timout. After the T302 part of the command you can also add a value in ms if you wish to remove it from the default which is 10secs, which can be a little long in cases

Hope this helps

When you receive this message:

BRI-VG1#

May 22 08:36:48.195: ISDN BR0/0/1 Q931: RX <- INFORMATION pd = 8 callref = 0x5C

Sending Complete

Called Party Number i = 0xA1, '7'

Plan:ISDN, Type:National

it does NOT mean that sending complete is BEFORE the called digit. That is just the way it is printed.

It means that you have received the last digit.
