Hi, when traffic flows from i.e. in to port 1 then internally to port 2. Where does qos take place? port 1 (ingress --> egress) --> port 2 (ingress --> egress).

From port 1 to port 2 = ingress on port 1 and egress on port. Marking/classification and potentially queueing/policing is usually done on ingress, queueing/shaping on egress.

Thx for the reply. The first sentence 'egress on port' is that port 1 or 2?

Apologies, doesn't make much sense without the port number :-)
It's meant to say "egress on port 2".
