I have many skinny-controlled, VG224-connected, analog phones in a CUCM 6.1(2) environment. They do NOT double-ring to indicate an outside call vs. an inside call. (The IP phones do). Is there a particular command that has to be done on the VG224 ring double-pulse for outside calls?
I've dug but cannot find anything.
THANKS!

Hi Michael,
I have checked every VG224 doc that I can find and it doesn't look like Distinctive Ringing is supported :(
Check out the Supplementary Services;

Hope this helps! It's a bummer
Rob
PS: I have worked with some other NetPros who could not enable this feature with the VG224 :(

Thanks Rob for looking....I couldn't find mention of it one-way or another, either. Somewhat unbelievable.

You can have this feature activated by changing the required cptone, eg cptone IN, you can upgrade the VG224 IOS to vg224-i6s-mz.150-1.M.bin
or you can apply the command " ring cadence external
