Access Point 1200 Association: Activity Timeout

I have couple of cisco 1200 series Access Points with the below image and settings.

System Software Version: 12.3(8)JEC1

Association: Activity Timeout

Default = 60 Seconds and Maximum = 90 Seconds.

The AP does not remove the client associtation list after the time out. What is the workaround?

Specifies that the access point or bridge operates as the root bridge in a pair of bridges. This mode does not support wireless client associations.

Note On the 1200 and 1240AG series access points, this option supports only point-to-point bridge operation.

Note On the 1300 and 1400 series bridges, this option supports point-to-point and multipoint bridge operation.
