NAtted IP

Hi,

I have a server which is having the private 10.5.10.21 & Natted ip 207.211.x.x we have hosted our application in this server. People from internet able to access the application thru public IP.

Is it possible to access the application from same m/c thru the natted ip (ex: http://207.211.x.x)

You can't access from the inside, the public IP. You can use DNS doctoring, this way you can point your inside clients to the same dns name.

In one of our branch office, we have a application server natted with Public IP & also enabled the PORT FORWARDING its working fine there.

one thing I observerd when i give whatismyip.com in this server it shows the PAT IP not the NATTED IP & application works thru public ip from local m/c. After removing the PORT FORWARDING if i do the samething it shows me the NATTED IP not the PAT IP & application doesn't works thru public ip from local m/c.
