ISRs and HWIC-4ESW problem

Everytime we trunk VLAN-s on any of HWIC-4ESW ports, problems like VoIP conversation get disconnected very shortly after being established, VPNs that get routed through those virtual, VLAN interfaces on that router don't get established, there are a lot of packet losses etc.

The router we just tested today is Cisco ISR 3845, with c3845-advipservicesk9-mz.124-11.T1 IOS.

When we put that port on access mode everything works fine.

We would very much appreciate your help and experience,

Dardan

What exactly are you trunking? From the router to another switch ? From router to a voip phone with a pc hung off it ? I have never seen any problem trunking to another switch of a 4 esw but have not used them as voip ports . Do your phones have to be trunked or can they use an access port with a voice vlan config ?
