DFM 3.1.2 snmp traps

LMS3.1,we have configured our routers to send snmp traps to LMS DFM, but unable to set snmp trap recieving port on 162,the application just keep showing this please wait msg but nothing more happens.see the screenshot.I tried restarting crmdmgtd service but didnt help.

Make sure udp/162 is not being used by another application. Check the output of netstat -a -n to see if the port is in use.

Output of netstat -a -n

Protocol:udp Localaddress:0.0.0.0 Localport:162 RemoteAddress:0.0.0.0 Remoteport:0 State:LISTENING

I tried changing to port number to unused port number but output was same.Only port 162 was changed to other port i chose.But still it gets stuck again showing wait msg.

How can we verify whether it is recieving traps or not, & how to verify traps are sent from Devices(Router/Switch).

For eg:- i want to enable traps for linkup/linkdown events.
