"Mute" softkey in 7911 IP Phone

Hi,

i am using Cisco CM5.1.3. I am using 7911 ip phone but unable to mute, i want to create a softkey as "Mute" as there are no Mute button.

Required urgent help.

No, never. It is always a physical button.

You cannot create a Mute softkey.

From a Cisco FAQ:

Q. Do Cisco 7911 IP Phones have a mute button?

A. The Cisco 7911 IP Phones do not have a mute button. However, they have a Monitor softkey which functions as a mute button as well.

7911 Mute soft key

 

So here is a shot of a 7911 with a "mute" soft key.

 

How do we reproduce this on other phones of the same model?

 

And all the "monitor" button seems to do is output over the speaker.
