CCNA training in NYC

Unanswered Question

I've been looking at a few places to train for a CCNA certification in New York City. I've found a Cisco training partner (New Horizon) which offers the two courses (ICND1 and ICND2) recommended by Cisco, but at a cost of $6,000. The two courses would take 10 days. I also found a couple CCNA training facilities in NYC, but do not appear to be Cisco "Certified" partners (NYBI, PC Tech and TCY) Respective links:

These centers provide longer time training, but I don't know how good they are. Does anyone care to comment on any of the above mentioned training centers? I believe that the longer the training the more I'll be able to retain, but the training quality is also a big factor (garbage in... garbage out). Given the current economic times and being in between jobs; cost is also an issue. I have the whole summer to train and I feel that getting a CCNA will help me secure a job after the summer. Any suggestions on training facilities or the steps that I should take to make sure I get a CCNA certification and the best bang for my bucks are welcome. Btw, I'm well versed in computers and LANs having spent over 20 years working in IT. I'm trying to re-enter the field after leaving it for over 8 years so I'm a bit rusty.

Thanks...
