We purchased around 20 IE 3000 switches. Out of 20 we opened 8 boxes and only 3 are working. all others cannot boo from the flash. If we are giving dir command its not showing the flash
I think it is not possible for all switch but may defect any one. When you first set up the switch, you should use Express Setup to enter the initial IP information. Doing this enables the switch to connect to local routers and the Internet. You can then access the switch through the IP address for additional configuration.
