The AP (AIR-LAP1252AG-A-K9) was originally configured using telnet and then the controller. We moved it to a new location with the idea of changing the IP when we got it to the new location. We were unable to get it to work at the new location and thought we would reset it to default and start from scratch. We couldn't reset it by restarting and pressing the mode button. I brought it back to the original location and cannot see it from the controller when I do a MAC search and still can't reset it.
