What OS is this?

Was the hostname changed since the box was built?

Do a search for an "" file. If there's one, what's its content?

How was the hostname changed (on the VM, I assume)? Which files were changed?

Good Morning Rezende,

I resolve this issue add in /etc/hosts the name the service plus my localdomain. Take a look below.

[[email protected] etc]# cat hosts

#  Do not remove the following line, or various programs

#  that require network functionality will fail.               agente1.localdomain localhost

[[email protected] etc]#

Another thing, before starting another instance Sybase, you need uninstall all Sybase first. Find for  /install-scripts/ and use script "./ --sybase
