Deployed a UC520 - 7.0.2 with CCA 1.9.1
User has a 7965G with a 7916 color side car. All the lights are on, but nothing in CCA or GUI interface recognizes the side car.
Are there extra steps I must take to make the side car work?

I have 2.0 installed, and I can't remember quite what the GUI looks like but...
Where you define the phones MAC address in CCA, you also define the phone type including if it has a sidecar. Let me know if that works for you.

From CLI
Find the ephone that represents that phone and add the following
type 7965 add-on 1 7916
Then you can go into the CUE GUI and add lines to the buttons.

done you can do both. Either thru CCA which I did not remember and CLI
