Which password? If for the UI, there is no default. If a password has been set and you don't have access to it, you will have to perform a factory reset on the ATA. See the Recover Forgotten Password section of the following link.

-done the following..the phone ivr was working..but factory reset just not working..

- after putting the factory reset, it still ask for the password...

Unplug the Ethernet cable.

Pick up the telephone handset.


Press the Function button on top of the ATA.

maybe my problem was this...opflags maybe were set to 6...now how to go thru this...

To configure the Cisco ATA to prompt the user for the UIPassword when the user attempts to perform a factory reset or upgrade using the voice configuration menu, configure bits 28 to 31 with the value of 6. Any other value for these bits means that the Cisco ATA will not prompt the user for the UIPassword in these cases.
