Syslog purge not working?

Hi, I tried running both scheduled syslog purge and an immediate syslog purge job. Both appeared to run successfully, and I received email notification. But when I check syslog.log, the size and actual data remains the same. Running LMS 3.1, RME 4.2.0. I would like to purge syslog data older than two days. Thanks.

The syslog purge does nothing to the syslog.log. The purge deletes entries from the RME database. If you want to rotate the syslog.log, you will need to configure logrot.pl. You can do this under Common Services > Server > Admin > Log Rotation.

What is the procedure in 3.01? I don't see the "Log Rotation" option available.

Logrot is still available, but must be configured from the command line. Search the online help for "logrot" to get more details. Start a new thread if you require additional help.
