Mail log format (regular expression)

Hi,

we're currently using a C300D appliance with 6.5.1 AsyncOS to send our newsletters and we analyse pushed mail logs on a separate server. We would like to know if there is any document with regular expression to handle efficiently mail or bounces logs please.

Thanks for your help,

Regards

You may want to log into the Support Portal, http://www.ironport.com/support

After you log in, click on Tools on the left panel. There are some tools written in Perl and Python that may help analyze the logs and parse it. Most of those tools have a --help option or a README that provides more detail.

Hope that helps.

You can try Splunk, a tool from another company specialized at log processing. But ironport logs are normally quite large. So you may need to buy a license (free version limits to 500mb/day).

I did try it, but it seems u also need a powerful machine.
