Solved: FXO Plar ring time & TCL script for playing announcements

Hi all,

I have two questions regarding playing a plain announcement through an fxo port.

First of all, by default, fxo port opens after 2 rings, i want the port to open as soon as the line starts ringing, but couldn't make it happen. (ring number command, plar / plar opx commands didn't work)

The second question is, how can i play an announcement through this fxo port and disconnect the call? Do you have a simple TCL script that can do this?

1. do you have caller-id enabled ?

Hi Paolo,

1. yes it was enabled, right after disabling it, the ring duration dropped to one ring.

2. i'm going to test it in my lab, and write back.
