Question on VXML Gateway

Hi,

I would request clarification on the following, C3825 when used as a Dedicated VXML gateway for CVP 4.x can support upto 120 VXML sessions (DTMF only), what would generally happen for the 121st Call at the VXML gateway for a comprehensive Deployment? Is "120" a hardcoded Value within the VXML gateway or Load tested value by cisco anything above it will impact Resources on the Gateway.

Secondly, If the calls at the VXML gateway are more than the recommended Supported sessions as per SRND? For a comprehensive call flow

1. Is there a way to find out that Calls which were rejected at the VXML gateway due to insufficient VXML sessions?

2. For such calls if using type 10 vru as the VRU leg would never completed, the calls would fail at the send2vru node within ICM. Does ICM provide any information which may indicate the reason of failure at th VXML gateway?

Thanks

Mohsin,

The answer to your question is its all a theroetical limit. The gateway will not do anything if you push more sessions into it, likely is it will just crash eventually.
