IP comunicator over VPN

Hi,

I have UCCM version 7.0, IP communicator version 7.0.2 and Check Point firewall for VPN. My IP communicator works fine when I'm in LAN.

When I connect through VPN, IP communicator is registered with UCCM. The IP address of IP communicator is the IP address of PC from VPN pool. But, when I call some IP phone in LAN (the phone is in the same LAN as UCCM), the phone ringing and when the phone goes off-hook, my communicator lose connection with UCCM and resets.

On CP firewall I got an error:

Illegal redirection 10.10.16.10->10.10.17.66.

10.10.16.10 is the UCCM server and 10.10.17.66 is the IP phone in the same VLAN.

What can be a problem?

Regards,

Vlaho

Mate,

when you ring your phone from IPcomm. you have two legs:

-Ip comm.-->CUCM

-CUCM--->LAN phone

when your lan phone goes off hook, the RTP stream between your 2 endpoint will be established.

My advise look at what your firewall is permitting regarding RTP between the relevant subnets
