I have two clusters at the same site with ICT between the two. Unique DIDs between the two clusters. I have (2) voice gateways. The gateways will have (2) PRIs each. Im thinking of the following:
- Cluster A VG A MGCP
- Cluster B VG B MGCP
- ICT between Cluster A and B.
Incoming DID on Cluster A routes to Cluster B via ICT (RP basically) Vice versa.
Outbound calls will be available for their respective Gateway/cluster. Could AAR be used for spillover of outbound calls to the other gateway?
Would H323 be and different in this setup to make it easier or is it basically apples to apples between the two protocols.
Cheers and thanks!
Two clusters at the same site. MGCP or H323 for (2) gateways

There is nothing unique here as far as protocol selection becuase you have ICT.
CM is a protocol transaltor, so it makes no difference, and your decision points should be the usual ones for selecting H323 vs MGCP.
