EOBC on Catalyst 4506

Hello All,

I am running this code Cisco Internetwork Operating System Software

IOS (tm) Catalyst 4000 L3 Switch Software (cat4000-I9K91S-M), Version 12.2(18)EW

and I can not see anything about the EOBC interface with and show command.

The EOBC is an internal interface that is not visible via the CLI and should not be visible via SNMP.

EOBC stands for Ethernet Out-of-Band Channel and is an internal communications channel in the modular switches (like Cat4500 and Cat6500). It is used for the control plane communication between the Supervisor(s) and the line card.
