Problems with Syslog-Format: NAM 4.0 (NAM-2) and RME 4.2 Syslog-Collector

Hi there,

actually we upgraded our NAM-2 to Version 4.0 and wanted to integrate syslog-messages into RME-SyslogCollector/Analyzer.

With enabling syslog remote-server on the NAM we discovered several message-drops in Syslog-Collector (stating that Syslog-Messages are not in EMBLEM-Format).

Unfortunately on NAM 4.0 it is not possible to configure that necessary format for RME 4.2 Syslog-Collector.

Is this a known bug?

Any patches available for NAM 4.0?

Thanks for any feedback

No, NAM syslog support does not yet exist in RME. I see no indication that this feature has been requested. Therefore, I recommend you have your account team file a Product Enhancement Request (PERS) on your behalf.
