Can I set a line or soft key to auto call forward?

Here is the scenario, I would image its fairly common, I leave my desk a lot to go out around the town on business. It would be nice if I could just press one button on my ip-phone to have my calls Call Forwarded to my mobile phone.

So is there a way to set one of the line buttons or softkeys to auto-dial my mobile? I have the SPA525G phone and there is a softkey for "CFwdAll" but I have to manualy enter the number I want to call forward too.

Single Number Reach (SNR) is a perfect fir for what you need here. Watch the SNR demonstration on:

https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-9709

You will need the Early ADopter 7.1.1 Software Pack.

Alternatively to SNR, you can also set a speed dial button on the phone either using CCA or the CLI command "speed-dial 1 cellnumber" under the appropriate ephone.  With this setup, and assuming there was an available button for the speed dial to be assigned to, you can hit the callfwdall softkey and then the speed dial button and it will forward your calls to your cell number.

I was able to set this up, the result is a 3 step process, but fairly fast steps, certainly much faster than typing a number.

Press CFwdAll

Press Line key #2

Press End Call

I did download and use the Early ADopter 7.1.1 Software Pack to upgrade my UC520.

But this is odd, on the computer I did the upgrade of the UC520 on, the "Single Number Reach" isn't in the smart applications manager.

I installed CCA on another computer and "Single Number Reach" is on the list there.

I think I read something on "Single Number Reach" awhile back, does it tie up 2 lines when i use? We are a small business and only have 2 lines to start with.

When I go into the SNR configuration and try entering a cell phone number (with 9 prepended), it gives me an error saying. "Extension cannot be part of a Hunt Group". The extension 201 is indeed part of the 501 hunt group I setup and is kind of required to be.

I just found a good video demonstrating SNR: http://blogs.cisco.com/ciscotalk/cin/comments/single_number_reach/

Hi Trevor,

We have an SBCS specific SNR VOD here:

https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-9709

Regarding the SNR question, if using FXO, two trunks are used (call is hairpinned on the UC500).

Finally, are you sure you had CCA 2.0 when you opened the Smart Apps tab? Could it be you still had 1.9?

Thanks,

Marcos
