Change from VTP server to transparent mode

I'm asking just to cover all bases since the fall out would be massive if things were to go wrong.

I am changing a 7600, 6500, and 3550 from VTP server to transparent mode. My intention is to simply do this:

Router(vlan)#vtp mode transparent

And that is it. Anything I'm missing?! Will there be any loss of data or vlan information? From what I read... no.

I did the same thing a few months ago and had no issues. I'd recommend changing any devices you have in client mode to transparent as well. Just in case someone comes in with a switch that is in server mode and decides to plug into your network.

The only thing the will happen is that you won't be able to create, modify, and delete VLANs and specify other configuration parameters, such as VTP version and VTP pruning, for the entire VTP domain as in transparent switches do not participate in VTP.
