Power for the Cisco 7975 phone...

I noticed that Inline Power isn't supported for this type of model and I was wondering if a CAT 3550 was able to provide enough power to make it work.

This is what I basically did for the config part on the switch.

Switch(config-if)#power inline auto

The Phone stays on a reset loop all the time.

Any ideas?

Try "power inline delay shutdown 20 initial 300" port command.

Not sure exactly how it operates differently for these phones and why it's needed, but it works :-)
