Hi all,

i have 1841 cisco router.

on one of the ports i'm sending traffic with QinQ tagging.

i want to add Priority Bits to the vlan Tag, for example:

1) for all the traffic which is UDP port 4000-5000 mark with P-Bit 6

2) for all the trafic with destination IP address 10.10.10.0/24 mark with P-Bit 7

3) for all the rest, mark with P-Bit 3

how can i manage to do it?

is there any option?

thanks in advance!

Alon.

Hello Alon,

in Modular QoS you can use the set cos action inside a policy-map

see

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/qos/command/reference/qos_s1.html#wp1012463

other modifications of the commands exist like

set cos-inner but I don't know if they are supported in your platform

Be aware that you may or may not be able to set the 802.1p bits in the internal 802.1Q tag so you need testing.

Hope to help

Giuseppe
