CSM - Add devices on client or in common services

Hello,

I installed the CSM server with version 3.2.2.

Common Services is version 3.2.0.

RME is version 4.2.0.

I configured the ACS integration and I added the Common Services as slave to Common Services of LMS3.1.

Because of the slave mode the CSM-Server knows all deivces, but in the CSM-Client there are no deivces!

I wanted to add a device manually in the client, but I got a failure that ACS doesn't know the device.

That is not true, because all devices are known by ACS and work finde with LMS.

Can anybody describe in detail how the "adding devices" works on CSM?

ACS integration is urgent!

Thanks a lot!

Now I did some further tests with the CSM without ACS integration and slave-mode of Common Services.

I added a new device in the CSM client.

But the device was not inserted in the Common Services of the Server.

Works as designed?

Sorry, but I don't understand the logic of this application!

Hi,

I think it would be better to open a new thread for your problem because it is another issue ;-)

When do you get the message?

Sorry by posted this problem.

I get this message in the middle of the installation. Is necessary to install the cisco common services first ?

thanks a lot

I'm not sure, but I think it would be the better way to install CS at first.
