Telephony Configurations on Cisco Unity

I have been tasked to amend the config of some our our telephony systems and we currently have no exertise inhouse.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to get tutorial on how to divert numbers to another, then to hunt group for example. I just need to be able to make amendments to the config of the way the phones operate via the ephone-dn and ephone configs on the router.

Hi Jon,

I believe the config changes you are referring to will actually be done on CME (Communications Manager Express)not on Unity. Here is a short reference and link to the Admin Guide for CME;

Basic Call Forwarding: Example

The following example sets up forwarding for extension 2777 to extension 2513 on all calls, busy, and no answer. During night service hours, calls are forwarded to a different number, extension 2879.

ephone-dn 20

number 2777

call-forward all 2513

call-forward busy 2513

call-forward noan 2513 timeout 45

call-forward night-service 2879
