Hi All,
I was wondering whether we could have the ICM parent and child running on different versions? Is there any Cisco document which throws some light on the same?
Thanks

Suman,
Its currently not clearly documented. CSCsu61423 is open to address this concern.
The current general guideline would be that the (parent) Gateway PG version should match that of the System PG it communicates with. At a minimum, the major and minor versions should be the same.
One a separate note, in general, PGs are supported two major versions back relative to their Central Controller in upgrade or migration purposes.
I hope this helps.
Regards,
Michael.

Surprisingly, you can have the child as a later version than the parent. We have a 7.5 child of a 7.2(4) system.
