I have a customer with Unity Connection 2.1(1) which I want to upgrade to 7.0.
In the existing system users were provisioned by importing them from CallManager 6.1 which itself is synced with Active Directory.
One of the main drivers of moving to Unity Connection 7.0 would be to sync directly with AD and use AD to authenticate user logins to the Unity user tools.
Has anyone done this and what is involved? Will I need to delete all the mailboxes that currently exist or is there a clever way to move to AD synchronisation whilst retaining the existing mailboxes?
