Apple Keynote remote in LWAPP environment

Has anyone tried associating an iPhone and a Macbook to a lightweight infrastructure only to find that that the iPhone can't find the Macbook. if they associate to autonomous AP's, it works just fine? The user could just do an ad-hoc setup, but they insist that they should be able to do this using the wireless infrastructure

We have a combination of Autonomous AP's and LAP. Our network has Apple Mac Book (don't ask me for specific models) and a number uses iPhone.

The AP's (both Autonomous and LAP) uses encryption and AAA to RADIUS and Apple products (Mac Books and iPhone) have no issues associating and authenticating into the network.

Ah. Actually, the Macbook and iPhone had no issues associating. The problem was with keynote. Apparently, a majority of the Apple applications - ichat, keynote, itunes, etc - use multicastDNS to find each other. In this case, the iphone and the macbook could see each other just fine in the autonomous world. We had to enable multicast in unicast mode on the controller to allow this traffic. You will see that these devices join to multicast group 224.0.0.251 - which is reserved for MDNS. Worth noting if you have a lot of mac users on your network.
