IOS C4507R (12.2.25-EWA11) serious software issue

Hi,

i found message in IOS software download

that IOS cat4000-i9k91s-mz.122-25.EWA11 found serious issue?

What IOS recommendation to replacement that IOS ?

Currently i'm using cat4000-i9k91s-mz.122-25.EWA11 in C4507R.

Hello Lian,

the message is a disclaimer:

Cisco advices you the image is affected by a problem.

The problem is related to L2TP.

Other problems apply to OSPF or other L3 features.

If you are using the device as a L2 switch only actually none of these issues is of interest for you.

One is about SSH, again if you don't use SSH this is not a problem.

A suggestion for a later release can be done but a sh module would be needed to see what supervisor is installed.

However, the advice says that release 12.2(25)EWA12 is not affected

So I would try to download 12.2(25)EWA12.

You might want to move to the SG train as the EWA train is eol in November of this year.
