Power outage, now Cisco 851 will not operate properly

Hello,

There was a power outage today and my 851 is not stuck is some weird bridge mode. I cannot communicate with the router over Ethernet.

It is connected to a cable modem and it appears to be allowing the IP from the modem through and the internet works, however the routing does not.

I have tried to reset and reboot the machine multiple times. No luck.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thank you!

Mike

Turns out I was able to find the console cable. I do not have any IOS images and I was unaware something catastrophic could happen (flash being wiped out after power outage). I am getting the following:

Thanks for the reply Leolaohoo. The problem is, I don't have a IOS image because I never knew I needed make my own backup of IOS because it was not provided in any way with the product other than on the router.

I think I need to figure out how to get IOS.

Need a service contract.
