How to control the over populated discovery devices in common services? I just want to discover the management IPs of each devices.

You probalby misconfigured Campus manager or entered a seed device.

To do a control discovery use the import by file option into the dcr and do not set up seed devices in CM. In this manner the DCR will be the master authorative source for RME and CM for device management.

You might want to reinit the CM db and rmedb to start clean, however doing so will also set all application settings back to default as well as removing the datasets.

Basically, I can just remove the seed device from the discovery engine and do not tick the option at making DCR as seed device as well.. right?! And probably I don't need to do the reinit of CM db and RME db, I can just manually delete unwanted devices from the database manually.
