VWIC2-2MFT-T1/E1 configuration with CCA??

Hi,

I'm trying to setup a VWIC card on the UC500, I'm using CCA 2.0 but when I'm trying to enable the VWIC card under "telephony" in CCA the area is greyed out. Any suggestions?

I guess I could use CLI, but the dial-plans could be a nightmare I belive.

Are you using 7.0.3 or 7.1.1 software pack?

Can you please post the CCA log when trying to configure this VWIC? (Press "F2" while executing the config steps).

Thanks,

Marcos

OK, one more thing. Can you post a "show diag"?

Thanks,

As you can see from this output, IOS is seeing the card but CCA isn't. May I ask you to please open a TAC case? I am sure that if you add "card type t1 0 2" to the config, it will help, but it would be great if you could help us track this formally and determine if there is a bug here. This is very basic functionality that I am sure was tested. I don't know what could be wrong.

Thanks,

Marcos

I would, but since the registration of the SMARTnet deals are taking so long to register from the dist to cisco, I am now going to have a big problem, since the customer is awaiting me with the deployment tomorr.

I'll see what I can do about this

Thanks

Understood. Do what you can here. By the way, I meant "card type e1 0 2" since you are in The Old Continent :-)

Thanks,

Marcos,

I'm not able to add the command to the config... only "carrier-id" is availiable from the command list

Eivind,

A couple of my teammates just caught this:

"

From the sh diag, this is a two port T1 VWIC, which is not currently supported by CCA.
VIC Slot 2:
VWIC2-2MFT-T1/E1 - 2-Port RJ-48 Multiflex Trunk - T1/E1

"

I overlooked this initially. We only support the 1 port T1/E1 VWIC.

Thanks anyways.

Marcos,

Got the correct VWIC installed, but after a configruing the system, after a while the voicemail dial-peer stopped working. I used CCA, web and CLI, so not sure what's happened here. If I dial the VM ext i get "no codec" from the "debug ccsip calls". If I dial from the outside towards the AA i get the following errors from "debug ccsip error", I also get "no codec" message;

000615: Jun 13 13:35:05.491: //-1/xxxxxxxxxxxx/SIP/Error/HandleUdpSocketWrites: Send failed errno 261
000616: Jun 13 13:35:05.491: //-1/xxxxxxxxxxxx/SIP/Error/act_socket_send_msg_failure: Send Error to 10.1.10.1:5060 for transport UDP
000617: Jun 13 13:35:05.491: //-1/xxxxxxxxxxxx/SIP/Error/sipSPIGetContentQSIG: No Inbound Container Created !!!
000618: Jun 13 13:35:05.491: //-1/xxxxxxxxxxxx/SIP/Error/sipSPIGetContentQ931: No Inbound Container Created !!!
000619: Jun 13 13:35:05.491: //32/D671E4768062/SIP/Call/sipSPICallInfo:

The dial-peer for the voicemail is :

dial-peer voice 2000 voip
description ** cue voicemail pilot number **
destination-pattern 999
b2bua
voice-class sip outbound-proxy ipv4:10.1.10.1
session protocol sipv2
session target ipv4:10.1.10.1
dtmf-relay sip-notify
codec g711ulaw
no vad
!

This is software pack 7.0.3, and I see that the " voice-class sip outbound-proxy ipv4:10.1.10.1" command is new. Tried to remove it, but didn't help much.

Any idea of what's happened ???

This could be caused by a dial-peer matching problem. Can you post your full configuration? As usual, remove passwords and public IP's.

Thanks,

Marcos

Marcos,

I did some troubleshooting today and enabled "debug dialpeer all", I then called AA and it came back up and everything is working now. Don´t know what the root of the problem was, but it works now anyways. :)
