Connect PA-system to UC500 in a grocery store?

Hi!

I'm looking for a way to use the intercom feature on the UC500 to broadcast on a grocery stores PA-system. I'd figure it would be a easy thing to fix but I can't seem to find any way to connect the PA-system, did'nt find any plug & play box on google. Any ideas?

The PA-system has 3,5mm and RCA input.

Thanks!

Maybe you could find a phone with audio outputs to interface with the PA?

What about a paging system that has anolg phone interface?

I have "sacrificed" an IP phone to connect the speaker leads to paging system before, but I don't recommend that ;)

Get a Bogen TAMB and connect it via FXS or FXO port.  Remember if you choose FXO you need a -24V power supply.  If you use FXS the TAMB is powered off the line.

Thank you!

I looks like the things I need, had a hard time finding a Swedish retailer though. Anyone know where I can get these brands in Sweden?

I connected a pair of computer speakers to the headset jack of my 7941 with a GN headset cord Modular->3,5mm and it worked. The downside is that the headset button need to be selected att all time for the intercom signal to go through to the speakers.

I couldn't really tell you who to contact. Probably each vendor has local retailer info?

Thanks,

Marcos

You should try asking Bogen where you can purchase in your area.  Here is a contact link for them:
