3G Card Antenna Question

I'm looking for the part # for an indoor antenna I can connect into my HWIC-3G-CDMA-V card that amplifies the signal. Or at least something that's better than the paddle antenna that comes with them. Any ideas??

Hope this helps.

Cisco 3G Omnidirectional Outdoor Antenna (3G-ANTM-OUT-OM)

Cisco Multiband Omnidirectional Panel-Mount Antenna (3G-ANTM-OUT-LP)

Both those could be viable options. I was looking more for an indoor antenna that has a mount or a platform already on it.

Just FYI, an antenna doesn't "amplify" a signal. An amplifier does. I believe there are GSM/CDMA frequency amplifiers, but they should be avoided unless changing the antenna or antenna placement doesn't solve the problem.

Also the antenna it comes with isn't so bad. The problem is usually it's placement. (Especially if it's within a rack) This can be solved simply by buying the correct shielded extension cable, and placing it by a window or some other RF "transparent" material.

P.S. To view the signal in dB use show cellular 0/3/0 all . With the appropriate slot number. If you have a slow connection it's usually the provider's connection to the internet that is slow (possibly due to saturation), and the wireless link has little to do with it.
