Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a IOS command which displays all interfaces on a switch which contain input errors?

You can adjust your | command to include the interface.
sh int | i Fast|input errors

Hi Peter,
If you want the output which shows the interface and any line errors for the 6500 (IOS), try the command show interface counter error.
Does this help you?

Your subject line works!
SW#sh int | i input errors
0 input errors, 0 CRC, 0 frame, 0 overrun, 0 ignored
0 input errors, 0 CRC, 0 frame, 0 overrun, 0 ignored
0 input errors, 0 CRC, 0 frame, 0 overrun, 0 ignored

yes, but it doesn't show the interface numbers. What I actualy need is a method to show all interfaces in a specific vlan containing input errors in a campus network of about 40 Cat.6500 switches.
I can use Kiwi Cat tools for it, but I need an effective IOS command to check for. Regards, Peter
