Call Transfer Recall UC520

Unanswered Question
Jun 11th, 2009

I tried searching, btu I coudl not find anything that answers my question:

Is Call Transfer Recall a global feature option that all phones and users have?

or is it a feature to be added by phone or by user?

My understanding is that it is global.

You configure the timeouts transfer-recall seconds and then any extension without a CFB, with a CFNA timer greater than the transfer-recall timer will follow the call transfer rules... correct ?

and user's who always announce a transferred call won't even notice the feature is enabled... correct ?

Thanks,

Stacy

I have this problem too.

Stacy,

It is not global, it has to be applied to the transferor (XOR) extension (not to the transfer-to target or XTO, nor to the transferee or XEE) .

The example below  shows that transfer-recall is enabled for ephone-dn 23 and after 60 seconds an unanswered call is forwarded back to the transferor. The timeouts transfer-recall command can also be set in an ephone-dn template which can then be applied to individual directory numbers.

!

ephone-dn 103

number 103

name Smith, John

timeouts transfer-recall 60

!

Thanks,

Marcos
