If its legal for anyone to answer....
When I take my test, and I am on a sim question, can I move on to other questions after the sim question then go back to it? Or once I answer the sim question, is that it (no going back to that question)?

The previous poster is correct. Once you move from the question, you can't go back.
The test engine has the capability, but Cisco has elected to not to permit it. Other vendor's tests, in the same center, on the same PCs may allow it, it's just a feature that was disabled for Cisco (and probably some others).
People would surf around looking for answers in other questions. By not allowing question surfing, they can have a larger pool of questions and not have to worry so much about giving the answer to one question in the body of another question.
Buy yourself a nice fine-point whiteboard marker, otherwise you end up with the large, smashed, dry point that only give you one cipher per small, cheap, laminated place mat (um, I mean scratch pad ...)
In sim type of questions where you have more than one question like 3-4. You can move from one to another in the same sim question but once you have moved to next question you cannot go back.
In fact you cannot go back to any question if you have moved to next.
