cisco Device Inventory, need help

My data center, HO and Branch office use a lot of Router and Switch. somes device are add my network and some are gone for meintenence . so its a big trouble to manual handle the device . My concern is to deliver the status of devices position at a glance.

so any one suggation which software can help the the task easily done.

Hi biplobhan,

In my network, i used the free "Switchmap" from sourceforge. it's swtich mapper. There's a search function there to help you search & list the model of the router/switch/phone you have. it is based on the arp so basically it works on Cisco devices (not sure on other brands)

Also there's the solarwind's "lan surveyor" which have the ability as the Switchmap but it's not free.

actually i need the entry of inventry when the device send to sites. that time i need entry the software and find out any time the status of devices. if you any software like that please inform.
