VSS-Configure SVI interface

Hi,

Configured VSS successfully on 10 GE port, after that trying to configure SVI vlan interface but interface state in down .

1. configure vlan 30 in vlan database

2. configre interface vlan 30

ip add x.x.x.x x.x.x.x

anything else i am missing . please advise.

conf t

vlan 30

name Management (or whatever name you want it to have)

int vlan 30

ip address x.x.x.x x.x.x.x

Then the VLAN has to be active on a port or a trunk. With that you should be fine.

One more problem i am facing , trying to connect 4506-e switches to VSS but not able to configure etherchannel bundel. in fact interfaces are in Down and Down state.

please advise.

Hi Milind.

Could you post the config from the VSS as well as the 4506-E in order to show what you've tried?
