I am 45 years old and studying for the ccna exam. Does anyone here think that is too old to enter the field?

I have this problem too.

Hi Michael,

I don't think that 45 is too old by any means! It's all about your drive and energy here. If this is something that drives you, then, there is no doubt that you can be very successful in this endeavour! It's very likely that you have the "work ethic" to make a go of this. Study, learn and keep learning every day (like the rest of us have to do :)

Best of luck with the CCNA exams.

Age has got nothing to do with it. How do you feel when you report to someone younger than you?

If a firm doesn't hire you due to your age, it's called prejudice and you can take them to court.
