Hi all,

I am trying to configure the IPSEC encryption between my branch office and head office. They are connected with MetroE link on the C3560G L3 switches.

Can someone please tell me if IPSEC encrytption using AES can be configured on Catalyst 3560G L3 switch. If yes, please let me know the IOS version and the sample configuration for the IPSEC.

Thanks

Taj

Switches were/are not designed for encryption. You need to get a router with a AIM-VPN module.

If getting a pair of routers sound too costly for you, you can always get a 10/100Base data encryptors.
