Cisco Agent Desktop (CAD) Unattended/Silent Install

Does anyone know if the Cisco Agent Desktop can be installed with command line switches or some type of unattended install?

Really, it just needs a couple of parameters, including what needs to be installed and the server IP address. I can't find a cisco document that details the command line switches or the actual .exe that is pulled from the IPCC server though.

We are using IPCC Express Premium 4.0(5)_Build042

There is no way to perform a silent or unattended installation of CAD. You will need to install CAD by manually installing it at each desktop.

Be advised that current versions of CAD (CCX 5.x and 7.x) are standard MSI files. You can push CAD and CSD through whatever mechanism you choose after upgrading to those versions.

Two caveats though:

-During the upgrade you still must MANUALLY remove the old CAD software before installing or pushing the new version.

-The user running CAD must be a local administrator or have the "Always install with elevated privileges" permission assigned to them. CAD has an auto-update mechanism that requires this and cannot be disabled.

Is this still the case with 8.5?

Seems like there must be a way to install CAD in slient / unattended mode?

Thanks.

My answer from 2009 is still accurate. Cisco [Calabrio] has essentially stopped developing CAD except for bug fixes. All of the development effort has been moved to Finesse in hopes of getting ported over to CCX.
