Hi all,
Im applying redundancy to the wireless network by assigning an Active and a Backup port to each VLAN. when the active port goes down the VLAN transfers to the backup port. The issue is when the first link goes up again the VLAN does not returns back to its primary port.
Is there a way to have like "preemption" in the WLC.
Another thing it takes around 6 Request time out till the other port take the ownership of the VLAN.
Is there a way to minimize this?

You should use the ports in LAG mode for better response

The two ports are going to two different Catalyst 6500 core switches for redundancy, so I guess LAG is not a valid opption.
